Hi,
I don't know your hardware configuration so I can't be to detailed
about the procedure but after the new system boots the first window
that opens asks if you want to learn how to use VoiceOver. If you
answer no, the next window asks if you want to transfer your
information. Select tghe appropriate choice for your configuration.
A new window will open allowing you to choose the items to transfer.
I've always used the defaults. Click the transfer button to begin the
process. After the migration is complete the Mac will continue the
setup process.
Please note that you will have to turn VoiceOver on manually before
leaving the first window.
