When you open the attachment and close it assuming that you have the
preferances set described in my last message. The document will
automatically save to the specified folder instead of being a
temporary file in the library/mail folder. Thanks for your help

To open an attachment in an email message, interact with the
message content, click the toggle attachments button, interact with
the body of the message, find the name of the attachment with vo
and arrows and vo space on it.

It says in help that you can save a unedited attachment once it is
opened in Mail. You can also change the default folder in which I
changed it to a folder in my documents. Change the delete unedited
attachments to never. Now if I can just find out how to open a
