The upgrade has begun, we are about a half hour into checking the dvd  
for errors.  I put the disk in, read the read before install and the  
install and setup guide and clicked the install mac osx application.   
supplied my password when requested, restart commenced and when we got  
back to the install window, I turned on vo and went through the  
initial questions.
I lost speech and the install has restarted after finishing.  I was  
able to get audio up and running with help by resetting my usb speakers.

Setup was smooth and I found three updates before proceeding, I am  
installing them.
