The internal speakers on the Mac Mini will work when you install
Leopard, but if you want external speakers, (I have USB-powered
speakers) I'll have to wait till installation is complete before I go

With the mac mini installing tiger, my usb speakers never did work
initially; I always have just used built-in sound until after the
install. think I'll do the same with Leopard when it comes.
I've always heard that the less peripherals you have during install,
the better.
