For those who don't have a braille display supported by Leopard, I did get brltty to work in the terminal. I still haven't tracked down stropts.h so can't compile the version of screen needed for brltty. But I was able to copy it from my tiger installation. Originally this did not work, but that was because I had to reinstall Keyspan usbserial and when I did that the old and the new port appeared to be available but only the new one actually is working with brltty.

If there is anybody using brltty in the terminal, I suggest you have it install and execute in your home directory or /opt. Otherwise it can be wiped out when you do an archive and install and you have to reinstall it. The same can be true of the version of screen needed for brltty.

I don't really see myself obtaining one of the supported displays anytime in the forseeable future--not that any of us can truly forsee ANY of the future--*grin*! So I am glad to at least have brltty available.
