this still shows up in Leopard. I personally think this is not a
VO thing OR a bug, but a reference to the visual representation of the
battery remaining. What I mean is this; I think that when you're
choosing a style with which to view the battery, you're actually
choosing a visual view for the dock, and not the view that you get
from the menu with VO. I'll have a friend check this out and get back
with you, or perhaps someone else on the list already knows...
so, in essence if you tell the battery to be shown as a percentage,
it will be in the dock, but will show up as time in the menu. Whereas
if you tell it to be shown as time, then that's the way it will show
up in the dock, and the opposite view will then be shown in the menu.
As I said, I'll check into this more tomorrow and write back if no one
else bites, K?... <smile>
