Hi Folks,
There has been some discussions about observations in regard to
Leopard and Safari. with VoiceOver. I still surely fall in the camp
Gordon has often addressed stressing the lack of some web elements
still not being identified such as anchors, lists and html tables.
These issues still need to be rectified by the Apple accessibility
folks.
One thing that I have pleasantly discovered is that some
unlabeled links in Tiger and Safari 3 beta are now being read
correctly. For example, if anyone is involved in fantasy football or
fantasy hockey on Yahoo, there used to be a number of links when
browsing league and team pages that were spoken as simply, "link" by
VO. Most of these same links are identified using Window-Eyes in
Windows XP. Since I installed Leopard, I've been pleased to find that
many of those same unidentified links are now spoken properly by VO.
I've also witnessed this on other sites, now that I am taking the time
to really compare passed experience to Leopard.
Take Care
