Apple's doing a superb job, and where regards accessibiliy and
VoiceOver, they've been a lot more forthcoming of late. I thinkt
hat's a good sign. They've done some astounding work, and all
evidence is that we have much to look forward to. There are some key
areas where improvements are necessary...some of these I've discussed
recently on Screenless Switchers and on this list, but I think we're
moving in a very good direction at this point.

They said that VO development is most definately ongoing.
Also, they emailed me a 110 page Getting Started manual for Leopard.
This is in .pdf format. I have not checked to see if it's on the
Apple Site so far. I'm going to take a good look at it right away.
I have to say that this made my day. I am really happy with what
Apple is doing and now I have no doubt about the future of
accessibility for us who use the Apple OS.
