Hi Jane

Go to iTunes preferences
Advanced tab
Select Importing tab
Then in the Import Using drop down window choose MP3

Now back in iTunes list
Choose your AIFF track
Ctrl+Click and choose the option 'Convert selection to MP3'

If you wanted to convert the track to something else, that is how it is done, just repeat the above process, it all depends on what you choose in the Preferences of iTunes

Cheers, JD

Is there a way to have iTunes automatically convert .aiff files to MP3s, or do I have to manually select each file as it is played?

I want to convert the fiels I am makingwith C-Speech into MP3s for later listening, and hoped there was a way to do a one-click conversion, so to speak. You know, iTunes sees the file is .aiff and converts it to the correct MP3 quality that I want. Is this possible, andifso how?

Thanksfor your assistance.

Jane
