You copy the folder to where you want it. The point of aliases is
partially what you're describing. You wouldn't want an alias that
removes the file it points to when you delete it, yes? In that case,
why not simply copy your original folder to the locale that you'd like
it to be in?...
An alias is simply a pointer. YOu can move or delete or do anything
you want to the pointer, and leave the object it points to alone.
