I find quicksilver to be vastly more useful than spotlight. You can effectively use qs as an app launcher and whatever else spotlight does, but what spotlight can't do that qs can is to do things to files - e.g. resizing an image, sending file as attachment in email to a friend without ever opening your email client,...there's just so much, and the possibilities are endless. If you're interested in it, lifehacker has a whole bunch of articles related to quicksilver: http://lifehacker.com/software/quicksilver/hack-attack-a-beginners-guide-to-quicksilver-247129.php
And here's a video by the creator of quicksilver for google techtalks: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8493378861634507068 cheers, jane On Dec 2, 2007 10:57 AM, VaShaun Jones <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I did not get this program because I thought Spotlight did the same > thing.
