Hello!

Simon mentioned that his new Mac came with Tiger installed and an "upgrade disk" to Leopard. This reminded me of an article I had read on "The Unofficial Apple Weblog." In short, it said that the "upgrade disk" only runs from Tiger. Therefore, if you need to reinstall Leopard at some point in the future, you would actually have to reinstall Tiger first, then Leopard.

I also remember reading about other problems with the "upgrade disk," problems that were resolved by running the "standard" Leopard disk. However, at the moment, I cannot find these articles. If this is an issue for someone, I will try harder to locate the info.
