Hi Scott,
The detailed instructions on how to get and use the MakeBookmarkable
AppleScript are in this post from the mailing list archives:
http://www.mail-archive.com/discuss%40macvisionaries.com/msg24377.html
The links at he bottom of the page allow you to follow later discussion in
the
thread.
I now keep a permanent bookmark to search the discuss archives:
http://www.mail-archive.com/discuss%40macvisionaries.com/
(well, my version of the URL has an "AT" sign instead of %40 but mailing
list posts will block that symbol so it can't be read).
There's also an FAQ on how to search at:
http://www.mail-archive.com/faq.html#search
Lots of options to search by date range, topic, poster, Boolean arguments,
but you can just put a search term in the search text field and hit
carriage return to get old list postings that match your search, a little
like using Google.

othersources,
If the audio book is mp3 files, you need to convert them to .aac, then
convert the .aac to bookmarkable files using a script from doug's
iTunes
script site. Then your books will appear in the Audio Books list and
not
int he Music one.

Woo that's a long subject line! As you might have guessed though, I
can't figure out how to do either of these things:
I tried to create an itunes store account earlier on. Went to create
account from the store menu, but absolutely nothing seemed to happen.
The sign in menu item gave me an authorisation window, but create new
account button from there did nothing either. Where am I going wrong?
Second stumbling block is copying content, or at least the shortcuts
in
the library to the content I guess. Say I have added an audiobook to
my
library, at the moment it's just listed in with all my albums and
whatnot under the music source. I can figure out how to select the
book
and copy easily enough, but I don't get how I can paste that into the
audiobooks source. Maybe this source only works for stuff from the
itunes store or audible, or maybe I'm dim, wasn't sure which.
Any help greatly appreciated
