Hi Orin. There's no built-in way to do this on the Mac. Not that I'm
aware of at any rate. However there is a free utility you can get
that does exactly that. It's called Line In, and it's made by Rogue
Amoeba, the people who make Audio Hijack Pro. You can download Line
