Hello
Does anyone here manage an ftp server with their mac and Leopard? I
would like some help setting one up. I looked at one website:

And was on a roll with the directions here until it came to the
business with the net info manager, which I discovered I don't have.
I am guessing this is a leopard thing because it sounds like from
reading of other message boards, that ftp management has changed with
leopard. So then I went through 3 or so FTP set up programs and came
upon pureFTP, the only one of the lot that was vo compatible. I went
through the set up process and attempted to log in anonymously and
then as a user I set up, but it kept saying that my connection was
denied. Not sure if it is permissions. Then the address it was
giving me was ftp://76.204.229,118/ . Does that sound like a proper
ftp address?
Would be nice if someone could email me off list and help me with
this. I get them in digests so I won't receive todays emails until
tomorrow.
