Skol!

Me too, it's the Scottish blood to blame.

These chaps across the pond don't have our problems with product release drag and can't get their heads around the fact that we will have to wait may be six months or so before apple ship over here.
Still they have to do all the beta testing for us don't they.
Shush, don't tell them!

Søren,
There is really no way to tell what Apple will announce at MacWorld.
If Apple does announce a new model; prices on the older models may
drop. Does this make more sense? I'm still recovering from New
Year's Eve!

Thank you very much for your answer.

Is Apple going to release a new model very soon? I have looked at the newest MacBook with a 2.2 ghz CPU and a 120 gb harddrive. I don't live in San Francisco anyway. I live in Denmark, and the newest models comes here to the contrey very shortly after it's released. Sorry, I'm just wandering what you mean.

Hello Søren,
I would say that the only bad thing about OS X and Voiceover is that
some third-party applications aren't Voiceover compatible yet. And,
because of the way Voiceover is integrated into the operating system;
there isn't much that a user can do except bug the developer of the
software.
Unless you're in a big hurry to move to the Mac; I would wait a couple
of weeks and see what is released at Macworld in San Francisco. If a
new computer is released, you might get a good deal on one of the
older models.

Hi.
I signed up to this mailinglist for 3 days ago, and I have been unable to send mails to it, but it seems to work now. Here is a mail I have tried to send to the list a cobble of times. I wrote in the mail I'll get a Mac at the start of January. I'll go to a shop today and have a look on a MacBook, and I'll
maybee buy it today.
Here is my mail:
Hi.
I have just subscribed to the list, so please forgive me if this question have been asked before. I have heard so much great things about the Mac system, but I have never heard any bad things about it. Are there really not any bad things about it? I'll get a MacBook at the start of January, and I want to get so much informations about the Mac system and Voiceover before I get my MacBook as possable. I have heard some of the potcasts from Screenlessswitchers.com, and I have checked out some of the other Mac websites out there. I also know some blind people who have a Mac, and they have only said good things about it. There is both good things and bad things in Windows, so I don't understand if Apple is able to make a operating-system which always is stable and never crash. But I'm really tired of Windoes and Jaws, so maybee I'll switch to Mac if it's
so good as I have heard.
Happy new year to your all, and I look forward to see your answers. I like to hear from newbies and users who have a lot of experience, if it's possable.
