Hey all. I am finding that when I use my Macbook on battery, I only have about 4 hours of battery life. Checking the Better Battery Life option under the status menu actually lessens the time. I am wondering if there is a way to turn the monitor off. I don't need it, and I'm going to be using the Mac in a teaching setting where it will have confidential info on it that I don't want people seeing. Could somebody please tell me a way to disable the monitor. I know about the screen curtain, but that is only temporary. Thanks for the help.
