Hey All, I just wanted to send along a quickie with a bit of
clarification on my earlier note RE: ProTools.
I think change is great, and obviously necessary in this case, but
it seems like this is sort of starting to turn into a bit of a rant
rather than something constructive / on-topic for the list?...
In addition to modeling, I also am a musician, and as well, have
done production / engineering work in the late nineties / early
2000's... So I too have a personal interest (and have had, for some
time) in having ProTools and other high-end products be more
accessible / usable at all...
I've also been able to make packages work, that people swore up and
down, were completely inaccessible.
For myself, on this particular list, I wonder if it just might be a
bit more on topic, to be discussing why exactly, it might be, that PT
isn't currently accessible?... -and what steps might be taken to help
that along?... I for one would love to know what the current issues
actually are with it in regard to Leopard / VO...
I think the idea that accessibility and inclusion needs to be a
larger part of the world in general, is a given. yes?... I think we
all agree on that.
Anyway, sorry for the additional post if the mods do deem this bit OT.
Have an awesome day All! I wish y'all the best! woohoo!...
Smiles,
Cara :)
