hmmm, how strange. have you tried shift-fn-f10 just in case?

This is assuming of course that a menu comes up at all, i couldn't tell
from your message. I've also seen it in some apps where shift-f10 just
plain doesn't work. Dunno what causes it, dodgy coding i suppose. Try
comparing the behaviour to shift-f10 on something standard like a folder
or a desktop icon. If it works for you there, then at least you've
narrowed it down to whatever app you're using not playing nice.
