question for a friend putting voice over on secondary sound card?

hello my friend is wanting to know how he can have his voice over coming out 
his main sound card on his mac, and everything else eg itunes and dvd coming 
out his griffin imic?
I had him look under sounds on voice over utilities and it isn't there to 
set this up
where can this be configured at?
