Hi Jane, not that I've been able to find out, however, there is a work
around of sorts. I'll post it here later. It requires using terminal,
but basically, although you can't stay within a specific space, the
command allows you to open new instances of an application say mail in
that particular space, instead of having to navigate back and forth.
