I think you might be right there. I recall reading some posts about it
on different forums. I think the problem with disk utility is that it
can't make a bootable disk image. You can only open the .dmg file and
see your folders and files structure, but can make a bootable image.
The only way to make a bootable Mac OS image seems to be with Super
Duper, and for a Windows image I've seen references to a thing called
Windclone, but don't know how well it works or anything.
