You know, I've always wondered about that since I might have a couple
copies of a document in folders archived by year or whatever. So I
fiddled a bit and hitting Command+Enter instead of just enter will open
the folder containing the document you selected in Spolight. Kind of handy.

Chris, out of curiosity, do you by chance, know if there's a way to
show a containing folder or location of a highlighted file in
SpotLight? Incidentally, SL is one of my *VERY* fav features of OSX!

Do you know the name? If so you should be able to locate it with
Spotlight. Just hit Apple-Space from most anywhere which will open
the spotlight search and drop your focus on the entry field. As you
type it will display results and then you can arrow down through the
results. Hitting return will open the file with the default
application for that file type.
Hope this helps.

Hi all,
I've just got a file from IRC, however it just downloaded it to some
unknown location. Can anyone tell me what this is?
Thanks.
