Ah, I have fixed my problem. I didn't noticed I could choose between the tabs in the preferences in the dvd player. For some reason, my computer doesn't automaticly switch back to the analog sound so I can use Voiceover again after I have watched a movie. But it's great the surround works now.

I don't know if this will help or not but couldn't you get the Sound Source application from the makers of Audio Hijack Pro and do it from there?

Hi.

I have a problem while configureing my speakers in the speaker comfiguration. My Mac doesn't automaticly switch to surround while playing dvds. I can't configure the surround system in the speakers settings. When I switch to encoded digital audio, VO is dead. VO doesn't support the digital audio configuration. It's the same problem in Windows, but I could choose the digital audio output in the settings for my dvd player. It's not possible to choose the digital audio output in the standard dvd player on Mac. I could get sighted help to configure the digital audio output, but how do I activate it while watching movies? Any thoughts?
