I'm currently using a HP OfficeJet 7750. Now this is more expensive
than most scanners just cause it's an all-in-one, but I've had
incredible success with it. I recommend downloading the drivers from
HP's site and stay away from the CD. There was a change in the drivers
since the CD was released and they will install as opposed to the
drivers on the CD. I've used Read Iris with success and also even the
HPScan program that is bundled with the scanner.

Hi all, I am thinking of buying a new scanner to use with my
macbook. I basically want to read my mail nd such, I want to know
if anyone is using one successfully. If so, please post the brand
name and model number of your scanner. I would like to know if you
were able to install independently with Voiceover, and whether you
