Hi Keith,
If you are using a windows mobile phone you are almost absolutely
limitted to active sync. If you are using simbian os, you are pretty
well locked in to their transfer manager. You don't really get a
choice about this, so I am rebelling. I'm going to set up an imap
server for my email syncronisation, pound handango for an addressbook
manager, and in all other wise avoid using the proprietary stuff, but
it takes time to get it all put together.
In order to help you better, it would be handy to know what phone and
phone os you are using.
