Hi Jason,

You asked: I have noticed that, when attempting to activate a link that should jump me to a given section of the same page, nothing seems to happen. For example, if I'm viewing a large HTML document and am looking at the table of contents which has links to each chapter, I am unable to jump to chapter 2. I can see it in the table of contents and if I scroll down far enough, I'll find that actual section for that chapter, but the link from the table of contents doesn't work.

TK: I posted this a long long time ago when still using tiger. I'm not certain whether it works in Leopard and honestly don't have the time today to check. try it out and see how it goes for you:

Earlier post:

I was experimenting with "this page links" today and came up with the following:

1. Cursor tracking or moving cursors to each others location has no effect.

2. If you do the following:

a. Activate a "this page link".
b. Press VO keys+shift+w to help VO lose its focus for a second.
c. Start navigating with VO and you'll be at the place that the link sent you.

Kind of awkward but it works most of the time.

HTH.

Later...
