TK: Fission is not a high-end audio editor. It doesn't have
scrubbing, dehissing and such. It primarily handles splitting,
fading and normalizing audio really well. It can do Smart-splitting
which is great when bringing in old cassettes and LPs. It allows
copying audio from one file to another, reorganizing sound within an
audio file and a few other things I haven't played with yet. Rogue
Amoeba prmotes it as a moderate audio editor and thus if you're
hoping to do more fancy effects and such, this probably isn't the
right tool. I really like it though as I'm not using it for
anything too complicated at the moment.
