Umm, aren't those word processors? You can't use them to make music can you?

If you want a music program why does not someone look into lily pond? It looks like the interface that they have for download is not accessible, but being a latex user, I have been tought to think of lily pond as a simple package for latex. It's only code. I went online at one point and looked over the syntax that they use. If you are up for learning another code like braille music and typing it on your computer, surely there is an interface that allows you to do this. I use TeX shop and the mactex distribution for my latex coding. TeXShop is perfectly accessible. Why does not someone email the developer and ask him if it is possible to simply add lily pond as a back end package, and write the code in TeXShop?

I played piano for six years, but never got to learn to read music. So I don't really know enough to have any success in typesetting a musical score, but I do know about code and latex, and i can say that if it is only a package with code, there must be an interface that we can use to type it.
