VO-H also announces the name of the field if VO is providing the more localized information, (i.e. "Home"). Sometimes the text is inconsistent when you try to read things back, but overall it works pretty well. VO-H is the key to what field you're in, if you get lost.

Inconsistent voicing of text being entered. In a phone field for example it is common that VoiceOver will not voice the first number entered. Sometimes it fails to voice other letters or numbers.
