hey there
well have recieved some interesting news. Mr. Steinberg himself has
personally contacted me regarding our matter of accessibility with
voiceover and mac OS X. though he doesnt have much to do these days,
the developers on tight deadlines with different products and services
but after some pushing we are investigating together the problems and
solutions. with this in mind I will be attempting to get steinberg
Cubase 4 plus access to their developer resource binaries to analyse
the problems and test some ideas with the developers.
we could.... only could possibly see something happening. Mr Steinberg
has offered the possibility of putting further money into research,
development etc for voiceover. though he himself is not a full time
mac user, he has an idea of supporting someone with a visual
disability. as his father was totally blind. so he understands our
problems in the pro audio world and is willing to try and help.
so this is some possible good news
other bit......
Apple and myself are conducting some testing for access development in
logic to enhance user interaction with voiceover. cant go into much
but thats all I'm saying
