If you're looking for a true laptop then leave the macbook air for a while.

there are a couple of things you need to consider. firstly are you going to be using a cabled ethernet connection for your internet use, secondly are you going to need use of a DVD writer drive, thirdly is interfacing with USB, Firewire etc and forth being a serious thing here.... Processor power, Ram and disk space etc.

if your answer to all of these is I need a machine that will perform all of its jobs without compromise then please consider either the macbook with a reasonable specification for your money or the macbook pro for more power, performance and industrial specification.

I am a proud owner of a macbook pro and iMac. both are high end specification and used in the audio field for business and I love them

welcome to the world where power, stability and an accessible OS finally becomes reality......

APPLE...... think 21st century

Do any of you have any suggestions of which I should get, the MacBook or the MacBook Air? The MacBook does seem to run faster than the Air, and it has bigger harddrive copasity, but what do you guys think?

Thanks in advance,
