i thought i was doing it right, but can't seem to access the files. It could
be the router i'm on (buying a new one this afternewn) but could you send me
step by step directions? Or just send me to a website? I find stuf about
networking with 10.4 but not .5. thankss

Hi Mike,
file sharing can be done after you turn it on from sharing in system
prefs.
you'll have to supply an account to share with windows but this will be
the
account you are logged in under. this allows files to pass both ways.
There is a lot more you can do but this should get you started if you are
sharing a router that is.
