voiceover reads names of podcasts but something else is playing

Hello,

I've subscribed to a few podcasts. They feature in the songs table and  
I can easily navigate up an down the table and hear the titles being  
announced. However, when I press spacebar to play a podcast on which  
the voiceover cursor rests, some other podcast is playing. Why is it  
happening? Am I doing something stupid?
