I went to my local apple store, played with the macbook, and took it
home directly.
I would reccommend a trip to the apple store even if you don't end up
buying the macbook there so you can get familiar with voiceover before
you purchase the computer.
The 800 apple number also works, but the apple store is great and
should have the macbook right in stock for you to take home.
