Darcy, it has been my experience that, if you hijack the system audio
first and then your mic, it works fine. Just remember to record from
the System Audio session, not the Mic, and things will be as you need
them to be. This is how I have done the intros to several podcasts,
and indeed, the last couple of podcasts were done this way in their
entrety. I hope this is helpful. Again, it's all in remembering that
you must hujack the system audio before you hijack anything else and
recrod only from the system audio source. If other ways of doing it
are working, though, that's very cool indeed. The more ways to do
something, the better, I say!

Hi Dennis. The only way I've found to do this is to record both the
mic and the system audio. This will get you all the system sounds,
not just voiceover. Here's how I do it. First, install the sound
flower plugin if you haven't already. Next, Create a session that
hijacks system audio. This is the session you're recording from, so
set the recording options as you want them. Next create another
session that hijacks your usb mic, and has sound flower as its
output. Hijack the system audio session, then hijack the mic
session. You'll know it's working if you hear your voice coming
back. Finally, hit the record button on the system audio session,
and you're ready to go.
It may be possible to record just the mic and voiceover using the
effects window, but we don't have access to that. There may even be
a better way to do this without the use of the effects window. I'm
not an expert when it comes to audio, this is just what I have
figured out from experimentation.

Hello all,
Is it possible to have more than one input source? What I am
trying to do is have Voiceover as well as a USB headset mic as
inputs.
Thanks.
