logic is actually a lot better than sonar has ever been in terms of
stability, reliability and professional recording work. as sonar is a
bit limited to support with surfaces etc then logic takes over and
gives more hardware interfacing, more support for plugin environments
and development of plugins if you're a sound and instrument designer
lol given that I have worked with logic for some years on OS9 I've
never had a problem with it.
as logic is getting better by the day with some work from some of us
guys behind the scenes I dare say that soon things will be much
better. also with the forthcoming 10.5.3 update and a rumour that
enhancements for X Code are due, I think life on the mac will be even
better

Well how does it compare to Sonar for editting midi and whatever?
Then we can seriously say the mac is viable for serious scoring work

Actually, Logic is more accessible than you might think, especially
since Logic Studio was introduced. Not such a waste of time for
those who want to blaze some trails.

Hi Listers,
I just received the Logic Pro 8 Tutorial
from this company called Digital Music Doctor They have courses
for all of these apps!
- Pro Audio video training for DigiDesign Pro Tools, Adobe
Audition (Cool Edit), Steinberg Cubase, Cakewalk Sonar, Sony
Acid, Sony Sound Forge, Apple GarageBand, Audio Mixing, Audio
Mastering.
and the audio part of the Flash presentation was quite
informative here is the link for the Tutorials. There tech
support told me they would not be usable but as usual they were
misinformed! LOL The only drawback so far is that the Adobe -
Flash Player only lets you start and stop or rewind to start! I
am looking in to ways to use audio portion more efficiently.
Talk soon
