Hi Eric, I agree. It seems like it wouldn't be too hard for apple to 
improve the library options. I tried vlc for the mac and couldn't get 
it to work. It was playing a new audio book (according to the screen) 
but there was no sound. I'm told windows media player for the mac 
hasn't been updated since like for ever so its not a good choice 
either. If i come across any way of sorting different media in itunes 
i'll let the list know.
