1. If you still use your PC or run Windows on your mac, what programs
or websites do you prefer accessing with Windows and why? Please be
specific.
Kurzweil 1000 for scanning and reading books and sometimes for
converting long pdf files.
Firefox for testing websites or for comparison viewing of web sites.
Several small programs I've bought over the years such as DVD cover
gold for printing of bootleg covers, NTFS file system recovery
software so I can charge people to ressurect their data, and so on.
Misc programs I don't use anymore like eudora so that I can get the
information out of them when I want or need it.
MS office for viewing word and exel files until open office catches up.
Other than that, I use my windows vm generally so that I can check
something and support windows for my training clients, read chm help
documentation and that sort of thing. I really don't use it for
pleasure anymore. Most of my day-to-day computer use is on the mac.
