Hmm, I use column view 99.9% of the time and never had a issue. You
can use command O, command down arrow or VO plus space to open items
so you're not at a loss. BTW I also tried it with the cursor options
you mentioned and it worked fantastic. Perhaps you were just excited,
smile.

Hi listers.
I went to my apple store, and was shown voice over on a mac book. One
odd thing I noticed is that the vo keys plus space did not open
programs such as safari. When I hit the vo keys plus space, I got a
beep
sound, and nothing happenned. The apple concierge had me use some
other
keyboard command.
note: I had all the cursors set to follow one another, except for
voice
over cursor following mouse.
Is this typical behavior of a mac book? This is the model I will be
purchasing shortly. Or, was something slightly off with the system I
tried? I know you can use vo keys plus space on an Imac to open
things.
