Hi listers,

I've received an e-mail with 3 documents in microsoft powerpoint format. When I opened them, to my delight an application called Keynote opened up automatically. After a few minutes, I realised that the slides where in the scroll area with which I interacted. I then came across lots of 'unknown' labels and images. When I interacted with the 'unkown' labels, I was able to read the text on the slides, albeit slowly.

I then thought it might be a good idea to convert the slides into a different format for speed of reading, otherwise there is a lot of going backwards and forward to the table of slides etc. I tried to do that through Iwork08 and I seemingly succeeded to convert one of the slide shows into HTML document. However, when I opened it with Safari, I am not able to interact with the HTML page. I get the familiar ping sound when I try to interact with the content of the page.

Does anyone have an experience of power point files under Mac and the conversion situations?

Thanks in anticipation.

Simon
