Hi all

I can access my time machine ok through my apple finder, but a couple days ago, I wanted to copy my music library over to my new linux box. I plugged the harddrive into the del latitude running ubuntu, and was able to open it ok, but when I tried to access my time machine partition to get my music, the folders were appearing as text files. I am pretty sure that this is because everytime time machine backs up to the harddrive, it recreates the file system using a bunch of aliases instead of actual folders. This is a great space saver, but not so good for accessing the partition on other OSs. Has anyone figured out how to copy files from a time machine partition using windows or ubuntu?
