I cheated and asked my wife. Sorry I wanted it too badly. When you
order it from other retailers and they send you the disk you have the
same verification barrier that you have now. The only difference is
that you get it now with Apple and a few days later with another
seller. I cheated when I got my disk then too. I have heard of people
calling Apple and getting the account activated that way as well. Be
sure that you have in mind the username you want so they don't give
you something silly like [EMAIL PROTECTED] HTH
