VO and Office For Mac?

Hi folks,

The author mentioned in the article at http://www.apple.com/business/profiles/aronson/?sr=hotnews 
 apparently used Office for Mac. I was under the impression that this  
was unusable with Voice Over.

Has this reently changed?
