I haven't realized this could even be done until it came up just now. I've set a few of these up like I have it now telling me who signs in and it's voicing incoming messages now. I've set it up to use the crappy old plastic voices like fred. That way it shouldn't intrude on my ear or interupt alex from voicing my other stuff. I don't really get that many msn messages, so it will take a while for me to figure out how effective or not this is, but it seems the logical thing to do. So far, about half an hour, I'm happy with it.

What seems to happpen in my case is that it waits for VO to finish speaking before it says something. It seems that you have to be careful not to let VO talk. I also have mine playing sounds in most cases.
