You WROTE: i put in a dvd to burn some files to. i launched dragon burn. as i was doing this, the drive reved up then tried to eject the disc, but for some reason it won't eject it. it's like it's stuck between seeing what the disc is then trying to eject it. i've restarted the mac, tapped and held the eject button, then shut the mac down and repeating the action. i've also logged back in and done it too. i'm on an imac. can anyone help? how can i get the disc out?
TK: TRY RESTARTING YOUR IMAC, AND WHILE THE STARTUP CHIME IS SOUNDING, HOLD DOWN YOUR MOUSE BUTTON. KEEP HOLDING IT DOWN UNTIL THE DVD EJECTS. THAT SHOULD DO IT UNLESS THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE MECHANISM.
