Actually, Apple did tell us. If you were to have gone to the .Mac site
a few days ago you'd have read several announcements. One said to have
bookmarks backed up prior to 7/6. The other said .Mac would not be
available from 6pm PT to 12AM PT on 7/9. That announcement changed on
Tuesday or Wednesday to say that .Mac would be offline from 8PM PT to
2AM PT. Yet the site has been down all day. Something's up.

Dot Mac still works and it's not really supposed to be up until
tomorrow. The roomer sites just broke the news, but Apple hasn't
told you anything about when it would be available except for the
deadline being sometime in July. Trust and believe that they will
have it up and running. What we really need to worry about is if
it's accessible or not. If it's not accessible then us getting it is
a non issue.

I honestly am beginning to think they overdid it this time.
