Did it say battery is charging or battery is charing dimmed?  Because Felix has 
had this happen also.  He says the charger cord itself has a little computer 
chip in it that decides if the computer is charged or not.  And if the two 
computers, that is, yours and the chip in the charger, aren't "talking" to each 
other, then it can say it's charged when it's not.

I asked him how to fix that, he says you just have to unplug it and try again.  
And check it to make sure it doesn't say it's dimmed when it's charging.

He's checking his right now, and it is saying "dimmed" in fact.  He re-plugged 
it in, and now it says it's charging.

Definitely talk to Apple about this also.  Report back!
