Hello
1. You can use the automatic install for VmWare Fusion.
When you configure your machine you set the memory you wish to
alocate, the hard disk (i.e. the maximum size of your hard disk for
the VM to run).
Then you hit run with your Windows CD in the drive and the install is
performed for you.
When it is complete, windows just boots. You do not even need to run
through setup, since the time etc. are all set from your Mac itself.
2. yes you can get viruses remember it is a Windows OS, so you will
need Norton, AVG or something of that nature and yes it is localized
to that particular VM.
3. Window-Eyes is the best under fusion as Jaws I believe from FS,
does have some keyboard issues, notabl the caps lock under laptop
keyboard layout is not functioning as a Jaws key

Hi folks,
I know this has been discussed before, so pleas forgive my questions.
I am considering either completely reverting back to Windows, as the
access for the blind is much greater in many respects, although the
cost is also much high; or running Windows on my Mac under Fusion.
Whatever I decide to do, i will not to get a new computer. But if I
stay with Apple, I have a few questions about running Windows:
1. Can I install Windows OS independently.
2. What can I install i.e. do only certain applications work under
Fusion?
3. Which Screen Readers work under Fusion?
4. Is it possible to get viruses under Virtualization software, and
if so are the viruses localized to that virtual. If this is the
case, presumably removing and then reinstalling that machine will
remove the virus?
Thank you for your time.
Feel free to e mail me off list if you would prefer.
With warmest wishes
James
