The only thing you need to know is does the Mac have a driver for support of the Mountbatten pro. The translation software is built into the brailler, but I suppose if you didn't like the built-in software you could get something else. Just a guess, though, since the Mountbatten Pro is so new I would bet there isn't good support yet, but hopefully someone will know for sure.
